Bible Study Luncheon

Well it is official! I have settled down in Texas!! I hosted my first luncheon at my house today for my bible study girls and had a blast! I joined this bible study a fe months ago at the church we have been attending.. The study is called " Just Moved" and the book is called " After the Boxes are Unpacked by Susan Miller" Can I just tell you it is the best book I have ever read! I truly wish I would have had this book when we moved to St Louis. This book and study has helped me so much thru this transistion. We have a group of 12 ladies and we have all just moved to this area, this study is so cool because you know no matter what you are going thru with your emotions and feelings so are they! The author of this book describes every feeling I have had so far whether it be Sad, Mad, Lost, left out, or just plain psycho.. for ex: one day i was having one of those days where nothing made me happy, I was missing St Louis and all my friends terribly and just missing the familiar surroundings and I sat down to read my chapter and there it said in INK If you have these feelings where you feel so lonely and left out and you just don't belong, they are normal.. My big thing was I just don't belong! Nobody knows me or my name and what is wrong with me, I have never met a stranger and now I am one! Boo hoo hoo Can you say I just had myself a pity party! And here I read the chapter and it has me written all over it! Can I just say if you ever move, even if it is down the street, around the corner, to another state or even to Timbuktu get this book it will help you so much emotionally, physically and spiritually! i have so enjoyed this class and sharing my thoughts and feelings with all these ladies who shake their heads and wipe their tears and say I am so glad I am not the only one who feels this way! It honestly helps when you know you are not alone and have a friend that understands! Today we celebrated the luncheon because today was our last day to have our study and I can honestly tell you I am very sad and I had the gut feeling of Oh No what am I going to do on Tuesdays? Have no fear! God is so good! My new found friends and I have decided to meet on Tuesdays for lunch and Holiday Markets, our Tuesdays are all planned until Christmas:) I think it is so cool how God puts you in the right place at the right time even if it is not in your comfortable little box. andhow he puts the right people in your path! I look forward to growing my friendships with these girls and I thank my heavenly Father for just looking out for all us during this journey! Remember if you are moving, haved moved or know someone who is get them this book! It will change your life!!
